A book with both word and image is an order of magnitude more difficult to create than just a photobook or wordbook (both of which being difficult things themselves).īecause I envision this to be a special object, I will probably crowdfund the book. One particularly challenging task of working on a book with words and images is thinking about the images with the words in mind, and vice versa. ![]() ![]() As you can see in the image above, part of the work involves selecting and sequencing images. As you may know, I’m working on a book-shaped thing, replete with photos and a narrative, based on my travels to Bolivia. I’m writing and scheduling this a few days early in the likely event that power outages persist through the end of the week. Oh, and Hurricane Ian is poised to strike the peninsula tomorrow. But here in Florida it still feels like summer. ![]()
